The next Test Cricket match will be played at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association International Stadium at Ranchi, Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s home ground. With this, Ranchi becomes the 26th venue to host a five day Test Cricket in the country. Howeveer, Dhoni will not be playing in this match that marks a historic occasion for this city. It is a pride to perform in one’s own home ground. Dhoni will miss that. In fact, the team opener KL Rahul experienced it just last week when he scored two half centuries and became Man of the Match as well at his match at his home ground, M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
