Scientists have found oldest life form evidences in the rock fragments that have been spewed up by a mud volcano. This mud volcano is located Izu Bonin-Mariana Arc, home to Challenger Deep and Mariana Trench – deepest place on the Earth. The chemical analysis of the rock fragments have found chemicals associated with hydrocarbons, amino acids, and lipids.
