Nafi Diaby, a pregnant woman who was flying from Conarky, Guinea to Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso by Turkish Airlines, went into labour mid-air. The cabin crew helped her deliver a baby girl at 42,000 feet above the ground. Several other passengers also assisted. The news tweeted by the Airlines’ official Twitter handle has received more than 16000 retweets. The baby girl has been named Kadiju and both the baby and her mother were taken to a hospital after the flight made an emergency landing in Burkina Faso.
