H-1B visa application numbers drop

The number of H-1B visa applications has decreased indicating that President Trump’s America First speech has acted as a deterrent to employers from hiring works from abroad. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services has received 199,000 H-1B applications for the next fiscal year, a steep decline from 236000 applications received in 2016 and 233000 in 2015. In the mean time, Trump is heading to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to sign an order dubbed “Buy American, Hire American.”
